We’re hoping to see local forum sites spring up all across the state as we get closer to the October 4th Forum of Young Alaskans. If you’re interested in hosting a Forum in your community or participating in a statewide youth-driven dialog we’ve put together a short outline of the process. Join the discussion and help define the future of Alaska.

With the website up and running and the Forum of Young Alaskans on the horizon, our next step is getting the word out to young Alaskans (ages 16-25) across the state. If you know someone who might be interested or if you have an idea for how to promote the project, please contact Ian-Michael Hebert or one of our steering committee members.

Registration is now open for our online discussion area! We invite all young Alaskans, age 16-25, to participate in an ongoing discussion which will culminate with the Forum of Young Alaskans in October and Conference of Young Alaskans in January of 2009.
Once you get your registration approved we hope you’ll stop by and introduce yourself.
The Conference and Forum of Young Alaskans are Eight Stars of Gold projects of the University of Alaska with major financial support from AT&T Alascom and Northrim Bank.
